METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR USER DATA SYNCHRONIZATION IN COMMUNICATION NETWORK WITH TWO TANDEM OFFICES

The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for user data synchronization in the communication network with two tandem offices. The method includes the following steps: a home location register (HLR) sends a mobile application part (MAP) message for requesting updating local user data to one of the tandem offices; after having received the MAP message sent by HLR, the tandem office updates the local user data and notifies the other tandem office to execute user data synchronization operation by MAP messages, wherein the MAP messages for different users are sent by different links and the MAP messages for the same user are sent by the same link when the other tandem office is notified to execute the user data synchronization operation, thus guaranteeing the ordering of the data update operation between the two tandem offices; after having received the notification, the other tandem office updates the local user data. Adding extra tcp/ip links is not required in the present invention when executing the data synchronization.
