METHOD, CORE NETWORK AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZING RELATIONSHIPS AMONG NEIGHBOR CELLS

A method, a core network and a system for optimizing the relationships among neighbor cells are provided. The method includes: the core network receives a request message from a source access network device requesting for the information of a neighbor cell (141); the core network forwards the request message to a target access network device (142); the core network receives a response message from the target access network device, the response message includes the relationship information of the neighbor cell of the source access network device (143); the core network forwards the response message to the source access network device, such that the source access network device can realize the optimization of the relationships among neighbor cells (144). This solution can improve the speed of establishing neighbor relationships between the evolved universal mobile telecommunications system terrestrial radio access network (EUTRAN) systerm and cells in a different system, and greatly reduce the workload of configuring neighbor cells manually.
