The present invention relates to a colored pencil in which the lead is drawn by screw type rotation. The colored pencil is configured in such a way that a lead moving unit is installed to allow a spiral protrusion to be inserted into spiral grooves inside a pencil tube, and the lead moving unit is rotated by a lead rotating unit to allow a lead to appear through the lower end of the pencil tube, wherein a circular key groove is installed at the upper portion of the pencil tube for allowing a circular key provided at a handle shaft of the lead rotating unit to be inserted and to be rotatably assembled, and an assembly guide room having an inner diameter greater than that of the pencil tube is installed between the circular key groove and the upper end of the spiral grooves coupled with the spiral protrusion provided at the lead moving unit.
