Medical device for the modification of the shape of human hollow organs

The set is assembled of a number of metal clips (1) and an elastic string or a wire (2). Each of the clips (1) is made of spring steel with two rows of complementary teeth and curved elastic lateral segments. The clips (1) can be inserted into the stomach with an endoscopic device and attached to the tissue by engaging the teeth. The string or wire (2) is guided through holes (3) provided at the clips (1) and pulled in order to obtain the intended shape of the stomach.
