METHOD FOR ACCESSING MEDIA RESOURCES DURING MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE SERVICE EDITING AND MOBILE TERMINAL THEREOF

The present invention discloses a method for accessing media resources during the Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) editing and a mobile terminal thereof. The method includes the following steps: if a user selects to access media resources from a streaming media server when editing MMS on a mobile terminal, said mobile terminal will download the data of the linked streaming media file to a local buffer and play the streaming media data in said buffer at the same time. When triggered by the interception and store event in the process of playing the streaming media data, said terminal writes the corresponding streaming media data in the buffer, beginning from the current played frame, to the resource file and saves it locally until triggered by the interception end event. The present invention overcomes many shortcomings in the prior art that it takes time for the user to download the complete media resource file during MMS editing and large storage space is occupied to save the file, improves the facility of the operation, and enables MMS more individualized and diversified.
