Disclosed is a house collapse area extraction system for extracting with a suitable precision a house collapse area using only aerial images captured after occurrence of an earthquake. A storage device (6) stores in advance spectral information regarding such terrestrial objects as collapsed houses, non-collapsed houses, and vegetation appearing in an aerial image. An arithmetic processing unit (4), by way of an area partitioning means (20), area-partitions the aerial image into a plurality of types of object areas corresponding to terrestrial objects on the basis of the spectral information. In addition, by way of a texture analysis means (24), house collapse areas corresponding to collapsed houses are extracted from the object areas on the basis of textures of the object areas.
