Covering device and method for supporting care measures on a lying person

The device (M) has multiple of movable elastic elements (FG), whose upper side forms a portion of a resting surface. The elastic elements exhibit a long form, which is defined by longitudinal direction. The longitudinal direction of the elastic elements is arranged perpendicular to a surface of the device. Each elastic element is adjustable in an individual manner in an adjustable direction in a level of the resting surface. A control device is provided for controlling adjustability of each elastic element. The elastic elements are adjusted via active polymers and/or via piezoceramic drive. An independent claim is also included for a method for assisting care measures for a person, who lies on a resting device.
