The present invention relates to a molecular marker related to a nuclear-genetic male sterility gene and a certification method using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a molecular maker related to ms k, the nuclear-genetic male sterility gene, containing a nuclear acid composed of no.11 base sequence and a certification method using the same. The molecular maker related to the ms k, the nuclear-genetic male sterility gene, prepared according to the present invention facilitates genetic discrimination in breeding for production of the first generation hybrid seeds of a hot pepper and is useful in breeding due to possible genetic discrimination of fertile and infertile species in the same generation.
