The invention relates to a solar powered fixed automatic reader based on wireless network technology. After the data information of a radio frequency communication module and a Global Positioning System (GPS) positioning chip is transmitted to a microprocessor, the data information is automatically stored into an information automatic storing module and is sent to an upper computer of electronic label system by a wireless communication module. The microprocessor and the information automatic storing module are powered by the solar power supply. All modules are integrated into a whole entity and installed on an entry-exit gate for containers or a harbor. The invention avoids the problem of pulling electric wires and network wires (in the harbor), and solves the problem of the requirement of battery replacement caused by incontinuous power supply of the fixed reader, therefore the fixed reader can continuously operate, and continuously transmit the information about the opening/closing time and location of the containers' doors; the invention ensures a real-time, accurate and safe node data reading in monitoring in the process of container transportation, which greatly enhances the transparency and safety of the container transportation, and satisfies the anti-terrorism and counter-terrorism requirements for the container transportation.
