A curved surface light concentrating photovoltaic receiver has a curved surface substrate (1), and a solar battery or a solar battery module(2), wherein the shape of the curved surface substrate(1) is geometrically similar with the shape of a light concentrator(3), and the solar battery or the solar battery module(2) is fixed on a light accepting surface of the curved surface substrate(1). The shape of the curved surface substrate(1) connected with the solar battery or the solar battery module(2) is geometrically similar with the shape of the light concentrator(3), thus raising light intensity uniformity of a focal spot on the surface of the receiver, improving the efficiency of the whole light concentrating photovoltaic generation system, and reducing photovoltaic generation cost.
