METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING ADVERTISEMENTS IN ELECTRONIC READER

A method and a device for displaying advertisements in an electronic reader are provided. The electronic reader is provided with a bi-stable display screen. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, loading pictures and electronic documents; step 2, calling a picture, and displaying the picture in an electronic document which is opened on the bi-stable display screen; step 3, activating a shutdown interface and displaying the picture on the bi-stable display screen which is powered off. The device comprises a loading module, a displaying module and a shutdown module, respectively for implementing the above steps. Advertising pictures can be displayed during reading, and can be also displayed continuously after the reader is shut down.
