Method for analysing the behaviour of a dissipative dynamical system

The method involves establishing an equation system characterizing asymptotic behavior of a dissipative dynamical system, and determining a set of proximate initial conditions so as to test stability of the dissipative dynamical system at the initial conditions. The equation system is resolved per time step for each initial condition. A Lyapunov coefficient is calculated at each time step. An independent claim is also included for a computer program product comprising a set of instructions for implementing a method for analyzing an asymptotic behavior of a dissipative dynamical system.
