The present invention relates to a composition for suppressing aging skin or reducing skin wrinkles, containing a Dalbergia odorifera extract or a fraction thereof as an active ingredient, and more specifically, to a composition for suppressing aging skin or reducing skin wrinkles, containing a Dalbergia odorifera extract, a fraction thereof, one or more kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of sativanone, medicarwpin, dalbergin and isoliquiritigenin, which are selected from the extract, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient, and a pharmaceutical composition and a cosmetic composition containing the same. The composition of the present invention, containing a Dalbergia odorifera extract, a fraction thereof or one or more kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of sativanone, medicarpin, dalbergin and isoliquiritigenin, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient, has excellent activities for suppressing aging skin and for reducing skin wrinkles, is safe because a synthetic compound is not used but a natural substance-derived extract or a fraction thereof, can be used on the skin for a long time because of having little toxicity and side effects, and thus can be used as a pharmaceutical composition, a cosmetic composition, and the like for suppressing aging skin or reducing skin wrinkles.
