The invention relates to a method for controlling solar radiation on the surface of the earth, comprising the controlled dispersion of aerosols of the type used in Flow Burring® and/or Flow Focusing®, characterised in that it includes: (i) a step comprising the controlled dispersion of harmless aerosols into the atmosphere, whereby said aerosols are obtained through the mass nebulisation of an aqueous solution, and (ii) a step consisting in observing and calculating the local and global radiation balance.
