Element providing the connection between a longitudinal element (14) of a vertebral osteosynthesis device and a vertebra (3). It comprises: - a caudal hook (1) intended to be anchored to the caudal part of the said vertebra (3) following ablation of the spinal process; - a cephalad hook (7) intended to be anchored to the cephalad part of the said vertebra following ablation of the spinal process; the said hooks being situated on two elements which initially are separate. It comprises a stem, positioned in a hole formed in one of the said elements, means preventing the said stem from returning once it has been inserted in the said orifice, and a saddle intended to come into contact with the posterior arc of the vertebra, and apply pressure to the said posterior arc by means of the said stem.
