AUTHENTICATING A PERSON'S IDENTITY USING RFID CARD, BIOMETRIC SIGNATURE RECOGNITION AND FACIAL RECOGNITION

A process for authenticating a person's identity involves evaluating a near- field communications device possessed by the person, as well as that person's signature and facial photo. First, a near-field communications device associated with the person is detected, and reads a value of the near- field communications device. Then, a signature of the person, and an image of the person are determined. A stored signature and a stored image are retrieved from a database based on the value of the near- field communications device. That retrieved information is used to determine whether the signature matches the stored signature, and whether the image matches the stored image. Where the signature matches the stored signature, and the image matches the stored image, it is determined that the person's identity is authenticated.
