A double-power device of a container lifting platform truck driven by commercial electricity includes an engine power unit and a commercial electricity power unit. The engine power unit includes an engine (1), a first hydraulic pump (2) and a hydraulic transmission device (3). The commercial electricity power unit includes an electromotor (5), a second hydraulic pump (4), cables and a commercial electricity source (6). One end of the electromotor (5) is connected to the second hydraulic pump (4), and the other end of it is connected to the commercial electricity source (6) by the cables. The engine power unit and the commercial electricity power unit are connected in parallel by a reversing valve, and then they are connected to the hydraulic transmission (3). The invention achieves a less emission and a low noise.
