The ski (1) has a front portion (2), a rear portion (3) and a central portion (4) for receiving a safety fixation unit (5) for binding a boot to the ski. The front portion has maximum width value (S) ranging between 135 mm and 165 mm, where the difference between the maximum width value of the front portion and the maximum width value (T) of the rear portion is greater than 25 mm. The central portion has a line of smallest width and a boot center mark corresponding to a zone in which the fixation unit is to be centered.
