PURPOSE: A non-platinum transition metal-based macrocycle catalysts for electro-reducing iodine is provided to increase a surface area for a catalytic reaction by forming a non-platinum catalytic film on the surface of transparent conductive glass. CONSTITUTION: A non-platinum transition metal-based macrocycle catalysts is carried in a conductive carrier, and a solid phase catalyst is collected. The solid phase catalyst is thermally treated at the temperature of 700 degrees Celsius for about 2 hours. The solid phase catalyst is dispersed in ethanol solvent, and an ink phase is prepared. The ink phase catalyst is applied to an electrode plate to form a catalytic film. The electrode plate is thermally treated at the temperature of 400 degrees Celsius. The electrode plate is applied to a dye-sensitized electrode.
