PURPOSE: A location information update method of AP using the location information of a wireless LAN terminal, and a system thereof for improving the quality of a wireless LAN basis location service are provided to automatically update the database in a wireless LAN AP location management system. CONSTITUTION: A location information producing module(103) produces the current position information of a wireless LAN terminal from positioning information. An AP(Access Point) information database(105) stores AP information. An AP location update module(104) determines updated AP within a specific range. The AP location update module stores the current location information to the AP information database.
