PURPOSE: A device and a method for providing personal relationship service in a mobile communication system are provided to search recommendation and personal relationship based on location of a user, thereby possessively managing the personal relationships according to their location and effectively manages the personal relationships to relate a new personal relationship.;CONSTITUTION: A location information acquirement unit acquires the location information of a terminal in the spot of sending and receiving a call or a message. A personal relationship management acquires information related to the receiving and sending of the call or message. The personal relationship management uses the receiving and sending related information and the location information to manages the personal relationship corresponding to the sending and receiving opponent.
