PURPOSE: A continuous variable MR damper control system using vehicle acceleration and damper's relative displacement is provided to expect the behavior of a vehicle body and to classify the property of the road during driving using four acceleration sensors and four damper's relative displacement sensors. CONSTITUTION: A continuous variable MR damper control system using vehicle acceleration and damper's relative displacement comprises a signal processing part(100), a control gain calculating part(200) and a damper controlling part(300). The signal processing part uses vehicle acceleration and damper's relative displacement. The signal processing part calculates the moving average of the vehicle speed and the moving average of wheel's relative speed. The control gain calculating part receives the moving averages from the signal processing part. The control gain calculating part determines the road and calculates control gain according to the determination result. The damper controlling part drives the damper based on the signal of the resonant frequency band of a wheel.
