PURPOSE: A naphthalene lyotropic liquid crystal composition is provided to form liquid crystal thin flim by coating due to chromonic lyotropic liquid crystalinity absorbing short wavelength of 400-450 nm.;CONSTITUTION: A naphthalene lyotropic liquid crystal composition comprises a naphthalenic compound represented by chemical formula 1. The liquid crystal composition further includes a lyotropic chromonic liquid crystal compound. A molar ratio of the naphthalenic compound and the lyotropic chromonic liquid crystal compound is 0.8:1 - 1:1.5. The lyotropic chromonic liquid crystal compound is a basic chromonic liquid crystalline compound with a basic functional group.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
