PURPOSE: Tetrahydroxy cinnamate and a tetrahydroxy amide derivative, a manufacturing method thereof, and a skin external application composition containing thereof are provided to secure the excellent skin whitening effect by the tyrosinase inhibiting function.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of tetrahydroxy cinnamate and a tetrahydroxy amide derivative comprises the following steps: condense-reacting a compound marked with chemical formula 2, with a compound marked with chemical formula 3a or 3b; and deprotection-reacting the outcome from the previous step, with the presence of a palladium catalyst and a base. In the chemical formula 2, 3a, and 3b, R is either methyl or -COOCH_3. R1 is either C1~C5 alkylsilyl or allyl.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
