PURPOSE: A system and a method for processing mobile phone's small sum of money settlement by using a question/answer interface are provided to receives and authenticate answer information inputted through a user interface and generate an authentication number in order to transmit the authentication number to a mobile phone number.;CONSTITUTION: A payment system(100) includes followings. If payment request information is inputted and the inputted payment request information is transmitted from a user terminal(155), an authentication processing unit(115) receives the payment request information transmitted from the user terminal. The authentication processing unit performs the authentication processing for the payment authentication information.
