PURPOSE: An OTP generating method through an index exchange, a system, a mobile phone for the same and a recording medium of the same are provided to authenticate whether a mobile phone is a valid OTP medium, thereby continuously authenticating and maintaining reliability about OTP generated through the mobile phone.;CONSTITUTION: A medium authentication device(240) compares OTP medium information stored in a storing medium and OTP medium authentication information. The medium authentication device authenticates a mobile phone as an OTP medium generating N numbers of OTP. When the mobile phone is authenticated as the OTP medium, an OTP generating device(250) generates OTP through server side OTP generating information which is matched with an index value among at least one server side OTP generating information about the OTP medium stored in the storing medium.
