PURPOSE: A method for preparing macropores silica using a nonsurfactant and an application to protein adsorption are provided to manufacture mesoporous silica having a large pore by using colloid silica sol containing nonsurfactant and silica particle. CONSTITUTION: A citric acid is added to a synthesized colloid silica sol of 30nm. A silica-citric acid nano complex having a meso structure is obtained through stirring colloid silica sol under room temperature for 10 minutes. The silica-citric acid nano complex is dried under 70 degrees for 12 hours. The silica-citric acid nano complex is cured under 500 degrees for 2 hours. Macropores silica1 is manufactured.
