PURPOSE: An embedded system-based face search and recognition device and a method thereof are provided to recognize/search the face video information in real time by using the AdaBoost algorithm. CONSTITUTION: The feature point of the received video information is analyzed through the AdaBoost algorithm(S910). If the received video information is the face information, the searched face image information is processed as the specific size(S920). The face part of the processed face information is recognized through the PCA(Principal Component Analysis) algorithm(S930). The face video information is ported with the embedded type(S940). The ported face video information is transmitted to the embedded application(S950).
