AIR VALVE FOR A WATER SUPPLY PIPE, USING A CONNECTION PLATE FOR EASY ATTACHMENT/DETACHMENT OF AN AIR DISCHARGE VALVE AND AN OPENING/CLOSING VALVE

PURPOSE: An air valve for a water supply pipe is provided to reduce the height of a water supply pipe because an opening/closing valve connected between a water supply pipe and an air discharge valve has no flanges.;CONSTITUTION: An air valve for a water supply pipe, which is coupled to a flange(2) of a water supply pipe(1) with bolts(3) and nuts(4), comprises an opening/closing valve(100), a connection plate(200), and an air discharge valve(90). The air discharge valve comprises a body(10), a movable valve guide(20), a lid(30), a float ball(40), a movable valve(50), and a cover(60). In the opening/closing valve, a drive lever(141) and a gear box(140) are connected by a shaft. The shaft is inserted to the bottom of the drive lever and fixed with a side pin(142) in order to prevent damage to a disc(120) even under strong manipulation of the drive lever.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
