PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing functional pills containing black garlic is provided to reduce blood glucose and glycosyalted hemoglobin and to prevent and treat diabetes. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing functional black garlic pills with an effect of improving insulin resistance comprises: a first step of maturing raw garlic at 10-120C for 150-500 hours; a second step of naturally drying the matured garlic for 10-60 hours; a step of maturing dried garlic at 10-50C for 10-100 hours; a step of peeling black garlic peel and pulverizing to obtain black garlic-pulverized product; a step of washing and drying soybeans; a step of roasting at 100-300C for 1-60 minutes; a step of cooling and pulverizing the soybean; a step of washing steaming non-glutinous rice at 80-120C for 1-60 minutes; a step of cooling and pulverizing at room temperature to obtain alpha rice-pulverized product; a step of mixing prepared black garlic, soybean, and alpha rice-pulverized product and kneading; and a step of making in a pill, drying and cooling.
