LUMINOUS PROTECT CAP FOR A STAIRWAY RAILING PILLAR

PURPOSE: A luminous protective cap for a post of a stair handrail is provided to prevent environmental pollution and harmful effect on human body by employing an environmentally-friendly material. CONSTITUTION: A luminous protective cap(40) for a post(30) of a stair handrail(20) has a post insertion groove on the bottom. The luminous protective cap is manufactured by mixing unsaturated polyester 32.9 weight%, cyan phosphorescent pigment of 20~50m 22 weight%, bromic flame retardant 0.1 weight%, glass frit of 1~90m 44 weight%, and isocyanate hardener 1 weight% and molding the mixture. The luminous protective cap is installed on a post of a handrail of a stairways built in a part or seashore so that the handrail can be recognized from either a short or a long distance.
