PURPOSE: Aluminum nitride powder produced by meso-porous alumina, and a producing method thereof are provided to effectively produce the high purity aluminum nitride powder.;CONSTITUTION: A producing method of aluminum nitride powder produced by meso-porous alumina comprises the following steps: mixing the meso-porous alumina with carbon materials(S2); and heat-processing the mixture for the carbon reduction and the nitrification(S3).
