POROUS PLGA-SILICA SCAFFOLD FOR TISSUE ENGINEERING

PURPOSE: A porous PLGA-silica support for tissue engineering is provided, which improves mechanical intensity and promotes osteanagenesis effectively. CONSTITUTION: A porous PLGA-silica support for tissue engineering comprises: silica of more than 0 wt.% and less than 45 wt.%; and a remnant PLGA and inevitable impurities. The silica forms gel having particle distribution of several tens micron-size by adding hydrochloric acid to liquid sodium silicate and is utilized after removing impurities.
