RECEPTION OF LEGACY NEIGHBOR LIST BY MOBILE STATION IN A LEGACY SUPPORT MODE

PURPOSE: A method for receiving the neighbor legacy base station information of a terminal in a legacy support mode is provided to allow a terminal to acquire the information for the reception of a message including neighbor legacy base station information through a message broadcasted in an M region of a base station. CONSTITUTION: An AMS(Advance Mobile Station) obtains the information for the transmission timing of a MOB_NBR-ADV message and the transmission timing of system information of an L region through an AAI_NBR-ADV message from an M region of an ABS(Serving Advance Base Station)(S201). Based on the acquired timing information, the AMS receives the DCD/UCD(Downlink Channel Descriptor/Uplink Channel Descriptor) through the L region(S202,S203). Based on the information for the transmission timing of the MOB_NBR-ADV message, the AMS receives the MOB_NBR-ADV message through an L region(S204).
