PURPOSE: A channel bandwidth information transfer and receive method in a wireless communication system are provide to transfer additional information through a new field by maintaining existing channel bandwidth information transmission standards.;CONSTITUTION: A base station transfer maximum number of transmission blocks. A terminal supporting an existing system uses transmission blocks in a corresponding channel. The base station transfers information about the number of resource blocks which is additionally used except for an available transmission blocks. A terminal supporting a new system additionally uses the resource blocks through a corresponding channel. A base station adds a field to a SIB(System Information Block).
