PURPOSE: A human body posture method and an apparatus thereof for using a chromatics camera and a TOF depth camera are provided to identify the posture of the human body in the efficient use of chromatics information.;CONSTITUTION: An input module(101) captures the posture of the human body through a depth camera and a chromatics camera. A training module(103) builds an NNC(Nearest Neighbor Classifier). A feature extracting module(105) extracts the feature of the posture. A searching module(106) compares the extracted posture feature of the feature extraction module with the posture template through the NNC.
