PURPOSE: A building in which an elevator stops on every second story is provided to increase the transfer speed of an elevator car by reducing the number of stories the elevator car stops.;CONSTITUTION: A building in which an elevator stops on every second story comprises an entrance door(110), a waiting platform(210), upper story link stairs(310), and lower story link stairs(320). The entrance door is installed between upper and lower stories of building and opened/closed corresponding to the door of an elevator car so that users can get in and off the elevator car. The waiting platform is installed to be horizontal with the bottom of the entrance door and allow users to wait for the elevator car. The upper and lower story link stairs respectively connect the waiting platform to the upper story corridor and to the lower story corridor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
