GROUP CONTROLLING METHOD FOR AN ELEVATOR, CAPABLE OF REDUCING WAITING TIME FOR GETTING ON AN ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: A group controlling method for an elevator is provided to reduce waiting time for passengers who get on an elevator by moving two or more elevators in case the number of waiting users exceeds the fixed number of passengers of one elevator.;CONSTITUTION: A group controlling method for an elevator comprises following steps. The passengers who stand by a platform are detected and the number of passengers is calculated. In case of one story in which the calculated number of passengers exceeds the full complement, the number of elevators corresponding to passenger number/ full complement number is assigned and in case of two or more exceeded stories, the elevators are uniformly assigned according to the exceeded stories.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
