PURPOSE: A wireless communication system and a communication method therefor are provided to reduce erroneous performance deterioration generated when network coding is applied in an asymmetrical transmission environment whose transmission rates of upper and lower links are different.;CONSTITUTION: A base station allocates a sub carrier of the first group to the second symbols. The base station allocates a sub carrier of the second group to the third symbols. The base station generates and transmits the second transmission signal. A relay receives the first and second transmission signals. The relay performs maximum likelihood determination for frequency domain signals of the first and second transmission signals.
