PURPOSE: A thin film tritium solid source manufacturing device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to immediately generate the tritium storage reaction by injecting the tritium onto the metal surface which is removed of the oxygen layer. CONSTITUTION: A reaction container(101) manufactures the thin film tritium solid source by allowing the thin film surface of the tritium storage metal having no oxide film to react with the tritium. A tritium supplying line(108) supplies the tritium. A vacuum discharging piping(109) makes the vacuum state by completely eliminating the oxygen within the container.
