ZRB2-SIC COMPOSITION OF NANO DIMENSION AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME FROM THE ZIRCONIUM SILICIDES

PURPOSE: A method for preparing ZrB_2-SiC composition of nanosize is provided to prevent local concentration of chemical composition. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing ZrB_2-SiC composition of nanosize using zirconium silicide comprises: a step of mixing precursor, borons, and carbons including Zr and Si; and a step of performing thermal treatment of mixture at 1200-1650C. The borons are at least one selected from boron carbide, boron oxide, and boric acid. The carbons are at least one selected from graphite, carbon black, activated carbon, phenolic resin, and pitch.
