CAMERA MODULE FOR PERFORMING AN AUTOMATIC EXPOSURE FUNCTION BY ADOPTING VARIABLE AUTOMATIC EXPOSURE TARGET BRIGHTNESS VALUE AND AUTOMATIC EXPOSURE SPEED

PURPOSE: A camera module is provided to perform an automatic exposure function to maintain uniformly the brightness of an image under various environments.;CONSTITUTION: A camera module comprises a lens unit(110), an image sensor unit(120), an image signal processing unit(130), and a control unit(140). The lens unit receives an optical image of a subject, and the image sensor unit converts the optical image received from the lens unit into an electric signal. The image signal processing unit calculates an automatic exposure value which performs a control operation related to the exposure from the difference between the automatic exposure target brightness value and the brightness value of the electric signal. The control unit controls the exposure according to the calculated automatic exposure value.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
