PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing optical fiber with a fine structure is provided to reduce the bending loss of the optical fiber by forming a fine structure layer with a plurality of holes between a first cladding layer and a second cladding layer.;CONSTITUTION: A glass rod for a core is prepared by drawing a glass sintered material. Cladding raw material powder and liquid are mixed to prepare sol. The sol is introduced into a molding mold with the glass rod in order to prepare gel.
