PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing optical fiber with a fine structure is provided to reduce the bending loss of the optical fiber by forming a fine structure layer with a plurality of holes between a first cladding layer and a second cladding layer.;CONSTITUTION: A glass rod for a core is prepared by drawing a glass sintered material.
