A METHOD FOR CRYOPRESERVATION OF BOAR SEMEN

PURPOSE: A cryopreservation method for boar semen is provided to protect membrane damage caused during freezing. CONSTITUTION: A cryopreservation method for boar semen comprises: a step of diluting boar semen using a diluent; a step of treating the boar semen with CLC(cholesterol-loaded cyclodetrin); a step of removing CLC from the boar semen; and a step of freezing the diluted semen. The diluent is Modena. The CLC treatment is performed at 0.5-2.0 mg/ml and 20-30C for 10-20 minute. The CLC removal is performed at 400g for 10 minutes.
