PURPOSE: A device for protecting a railroad cable is provided to pressurize and seal a cable rail connection unit to a protection device body, thereby preventing rainwater and foreign materials from being inserted into the cable rail connection unit.;CONSTITUTION: A cable arrangement space for arranging a cable(5) of a cable rail connection unit(6) is formed in a protection device body(1). The protection device body is inserted into a lower part of a rail(4). A protection device gasket(2) is installed between cable rail connection units. The protection device body inserted into both sides of the rail is coupled with both sides of a lower part of the rail by a bolt and a nut(3).
