PURPOSE: An exercise assisting apparatus for a wheelchair is provided to prevent joints from hardening or muscles from degenerated.;CONSTITUTION: An exercise assisting apparatus for a wheelchair comprises: a first mount shaft(21) in which both ends thereof are fixed to an end bar; a mounting unit(24) fixing the first mount shaft on the end bar; a housing(32) in which a power transmission device is installed; a pedal(36) in which the feet of a wheelchair passenger is placed; a driving wheel(48) which is provided with power through the power transmission unit; and an elastic member(50) in which one end thereof is fixed to the frame and the other end thereof is supported in the opposite side of the front of the housing.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
