METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE DIAMETER SIZES OF NANO-TUBES FORMED ON THE SURFACE OF DENTAL IMPLANT, CAPABLE OF OPTIMIZING THE DIAMETER SIZES OF THE NANO-TUBES ACCORDING TO BIO-ACTIVE MATERIALS CARRIED IN THE NANO-TUBES
PURPOSE: A method for controlling the diameter sizes of nano-tubes formed on the surface of dental implant is provided to effectively control the diameter sizes of the nano-tubes by varying the composition of electrolyte and the voltage applied to the electrolyte.;CONSTITUTION: The diameter sizes of nano-tubes are controlled by varying the composition of electrolyte and/or varying the voltages applied to the electrolyte. The electrolyte is composed of ammonium fluoride(NH_4F), water(H_2O), and glycerol. The content of the glycerol is in a range between 49 and 96 wt%. The range of the voltages applied to the electrolyte is in a range between 5 and 50V. If the content of the glycerol is increased, the diameter sizes of the nano-tubes are reduced. If the content of the glycerol is reduced, the diameter sizes of the nano-tubes are increased. If the voltages are increased, the diameter sizes of the nano-tubes are increased. If the voltages are reduced, the diameter sizes of the nano-tubes are reduced.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
