PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring components of an atheromatous plaque in a blood vessel using an ultrasound image in the blood vessel are provided to supply a similar clinical measuring result to an existing method.;CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring components of an atheromatous plaque in a blood vessel using an ultrasound image in the blood vessel comprises the following steps. An ultrasound image in a blood vessel including areas around the blood vessel is obtained using an ultrasound image photographing device in the blood vessel(S710). An area between the first and second boundary lines is set as an inspection area(S740).
