PURPOSE: A dye for dye-sensitized solar cells is provided to improve quantum efficiency, to obtain cells of lurid orange, and to secure long-term stability.;CONSTITUTION: A dye for dye-sensitized solar cells has a structure of chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, X and Y are independently a substituent consisting of substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group, and combinations thereof, wherein at least one of X and Y includes deuterium; Z is substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, vinyl group, substituted or unsubstituted polyvinyl group; and A is an acidic functional group.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
