PURPOSE: A dye compound for dye-sensitized solar cells is provided to increase quantum efficiency of a dye-sensitized photoelectric converter and the dye-sensitized solar cell by including one or more acidic hydrogen enabling a hydrogen bond in the dye compound.;CONSTITUTION: A dye compound for dye-sensitized solar cells is marked as a chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, X is one or more aromatic groups or heteroaromatic groups which are symmetrical to X-R^1 bonding axis. R^1 is a cyclic or linear alkyl group having C1-C20. L^1 and L^2 are hydrocarbon groups having two or more conjugated p-orbital. In the chemical formula, n and m are integers from 0 to 8.
